There it sat: the requisite suggestion box. Tucked away in a back corner, ugly as hell, gathering dust. The means to gather employee feedback at Havas Dusseldorf was doing anything but. So, what did we do with this sad, underperforming box? Rebranded it, of course. And thus, “Give a fuck” was born.
Suddenly people couldn’t wait to submit their concerns, opinions and suggestions. Was it due to the candy that the machine supplies once it gets fed a letter? We might never know.
Quickly, the content of the little yellow box was more controversial than any Twitter comment section. What to do with that much fuel? We decided to give this box a voice with a platform.
And since in 2020 everybody and their grandma seems to have a podcast, we decided we needed one, too.
So, while the world was on fire in 2020, my colleagues and me used our spare time to talk about provocative topics, trends, memes, and news.
The result is a podcast that explores what matters in media, culture, and advertising… topics that move society and shake up pop culture.
Listen on Spotify.
Nothing makes people more engaged with their workplace than feeling like their voice is being heard. And I had a lot of fun giving a fuck.
